Wickerman

Already as young Wickerman was visited by Death himself and told him prophecy that he is next one who will take position as Death himself when he grow up. In age 6 he died by strange death and noone knows what happened to him. But truth is that he was taken to continue his role as Life Taker and Soul Eater of all those who stand on his way, till eternity. So far all known about him are stories, and rumors. But he is also known ask King of Doomed and all dark creatures kneel before him in fear of his wrath.

btw there are stories that Wickerman is origin from Croatia, but you'll never know
